CambridgeSeven Names Timothy Mansfield as President and CEO

imothy Mansfield has been appointed President and CEO of CambridgeSeven. With 31 years of experience at the firm, Mansfield is a renowned architect celebrated for his bold design style and leadership in the industry. His expertise spans higher education institutions, aquariums, and sports heritage museums, where he crafts impactful architecture and visitor experiences.

    Mansfield's notable projects include the Roux Institute at Northeastern University, Kansas Aquarium, San Francisco 49ers Museum, Broad Discovery Center, and Stevens Science and Innovation Center. He is also dedicated to mentoring young architects at CambridgeSeven and serves as a guest critic at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mass College of Art, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.

    Mansfield holds a Master of Architecture from MIT and a BA in Architecture and English from Wesleyan University. "It's an honor to lead CambridgeSeven," he said. "I'm committed to continuing our design legacy while guiding our talented staff in pushing the boundaries of architecture."

    As Mansfield assumes his new role, Gary Johnson will remain a key leader at the firm, focusing on project work, design, and mentoring. Additionally, Adam Mitchell has been promoted to Principal in Charge of Sustainability, Douglas Flandro to Director of Sustainability, Milad Zabeti to Associate, and Brian Stanton to Associate.
