apStone Holdings and BlaqProjects Expand Residential Development in Australia Amid Historic Low Rental Vacancy Rate.

    As the Australian rental vacancy rate hits a historic low of 1.1%, CapStone Holdings, a U.S. family office, has strengthened its partnership with Blaq Projects to address the country's rising housing demand. Since 2020, the two companies have launched and managed over USD 1.1 billion in active development across Australia.

    The Australian Financial Review reports that the country faces a housing shortfall of more than 460,000 homes by the end of the decade. CapStone and Blaq aim to alleviate this pressure by building sustainable residential communities in key urban areas like Sydney, Wollongong, and Perth.

    "We're investing where demand is real and sustained," said Chelsey Turbyfill, VP of Finance at CapStone Holdings. "Blaq Projects has proven they can meet that demand with high-quality construction."

    Currently under construction is Orchard Terrace, a 227-unit luxury apartment complex in Subiaco, Perth. The partnership has delivered six new mixed-use residential developments across Australia since 2020.

    Under the leadership of Jared Beneru, Managing Director at Blaq Projects, the company has completed over 70 developments nationwide. "We're building momentum and intend to keep pushing the standard forward," Beneru added.

    CapStone's broader commitment to Australia includes its sports investment division, GameAbove Sports, which supports inclusive youth programs through sport, mentorship, and opportunity.
