Los Angeles institution for gourmet food and fine dining, Wally's Wine & Spirits, is expanding to the Reuben Brothers' Century Plaza. The $2.5 billion project in Century City will welcome a new concept from Wally's next summer, marking its first outpost since 2021. The location will span 2,500 square feet indoors and 1,500 square feet outdoors.
Wally's has evolved from a Los Angeles liquor store to a purveyor of specialty foods and wines with multiple locations in LA, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas. The Marciano brothers, founders of Guess denim, acquired the business in 2013. Century Plaza will be the first Wally's location since Resorts World Las Vegas opened in 2021.
The Reuben Brothers' Century City project is emerging as LA's new downtown, with a strong office market and nearby Westfield Century City mall. The property includes the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel & Residences, Park Elm condos, and over 100,000 square feet of shops and eateries. Wally's joins other upcoming tenants, including a health and wellness center called The Estate, developed by SBE's Sam Nazarian and Tony Robbins.
Additional restaurants set to open in 2025 include Milos, KYU, and Sushi Noz. Newmark's Jay Luchs is handling retail leasing for the property, while Cultivate Hospitality Group oversees incoming restaurant tenants.
