D
avid Stark Design & Production has taken over Prologis’s 31,500‑sq‑ft industrial space at 280 Johnson Ave, Bushwick, after a comprehensive overhaul. The creative agency, known for design, event production and brand experiences, will benefit from the building’s modern layout, efficient operations and adaptable floor plans.

Prologis vice‑president Andrew Forsyth said the move underscores the company’s goal to reposition urban industrial assets for clients. “Bushwick’s creative vibe and strong regional links make it an ideal base for a top‑tier design firm like David Stark,” he added.

As of June, Prologis manages 207 warehouses and distribution centers across the New York‑New Jersey area and expanded its office presence last summer with 23,000 sq ft at 461 Fifth Ave.

In Gowanus, 40,000 sq ft of space at 499 President has been leased to Union Market, Corto, Spear Physical Therapy, Paulie Gee’s, and Royal Palms Shuffleboard. Union Market’s 10,000‑sq‑ft flagship grocery store sits at 532‑542 Union St., adjacent to the apartment complex. Corto will operate an Italian café on Nevins Street next to Spear Physical Therapy. The 499 President development includes 350 rental apartments, part of the broader Gowanus residential boom along the canal.
