May 12, 2025 - Dentons is pleased to announce that Alana T. Sliwinski has joined the Firm as a partner in its Real Estate practice, based in the New York office. With over a decade of experience representing real estate owners and developers nationally, Sliwinski advises clients on the full development and construction lifecycle for various projects.
Sliwinski's expertise lies in structuring, negotiating, and drafting complex construction and design agreements, including EPC, design-build, and architect/engineering contracts. She has advised on developments valued at over $10 billion, delivering practical solutions that balance timely deal execution with long-term risk mitigation. Her dispute resolution experience helps clients identify potential vulnerabilities early and avoid costly conflicts.
Sliwinski brings a unique perspective to her practice, having spent time in private practice and as in-house counsel for Canopy Buildings at Sidewalk Labs (now part of Google). She managed the legal affairs of the offsite construction startup and advised on various matters, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, insurance, operations, and product strategy.
