ISC Charlotte has launched its Real Estate Developer Incubator (REDi) training program, with applications now open for its first cohort set to begin in January. The free program aims to boost emerging developers' presence in the commercial market by providing training and support to access capital and expand their networks.
The initiative is backed by a $300,000 grant from Wells Fargo and partnership with the City of Charlotte. LISC Charlotte's executive director Ralphine Caldwell said: "We're excited for the City's support to bring this program to life and see its positive impact on local commercial developers poised for growth."
Participants will receive technical assistance, coaching, and access to resources to lower barriers to market entry and growth. A virtual information session is scheduled for November 8, with applications open now through November 21.
Developers interested in commercial projects within the Corridors of Opportunity are encouraged to apply. The program seeks to help developers become more competitive as Charlotte's commercial opportunities continue to increase, ultimately creating paths to expand their capacity and grow their businesses.
