Exclusive Aerial Views Expose Extent of Will Smith's Private Estate

Calabasas celebrity compound spans over 100 acres, a rare find in the affluent area.

I
n the exclusive enclave of Calabasas, California, a sprawling celebrity compound has been revealed through new aerial photos. The 150-acre estate, owned by actor Will Smith, boasts an impressive Adobe-style mansion with custom-built interiors and sports amenities.

The property's Pueblo Revival home was designed in the late 1990s by architect Stephen Samuelson, who also worked on Gene Hackman's Santa Fe estate. The Smiths' abode features hundreds of handcrafted details from woodworkers, metalsmiths, stonemasons, and upholsterers.

A recent extension to the property includes a unique symbol etched into its facade, which some speculate may be a nod to Will Smith's initials. The main house spans 25,000 square feet, with nine bedrooms, a meditation room, recording studio, and cinema wing featuring a projection booth and accolades lounge.

The estate also boasts an impressive sports complex with tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as a puppy mansion for the family's Rottweilers. A sunken trampoline and pool area complete the resort-like amenities of this secluded property.

Will Smith has been largely out of the spotlight since the 2022 Academy Awards incident, but it seems he still finds solace in his Calabasas compound. The estate's lake gazebo, which features a bridge leading to a serene spot, is reportedly one of Smith's favorite places to relax and find inspiration.

The property has been valued at over $42 million, although it was briefly listed for sale in 2014 before being taken off the market. Despite its exclusivity, signs of family life are still apparent on the property, including Jaden Smith's free vegan food truck, which is parked on the grounds.
