Famous Mansions Left on the Market

Celebrity homes including Ben and Jen's divorce pad and Alec Baldwin's farm struggled to sell in 2024.

C
elebrity homes often get a lot of attention, but sometimes even fame can't overcome the forces of the market. Here are some notable celebrity properties that have been stuck on the market for a while.

Ben and Jen's marital home is a 12-bed, 24-bath contemporary Georgian-style mansion with an indoor sports complex, pool, and 12-car garage. It was listed for $68 million in July, just under a year after they bought it, but still hasn't sold. The price jump from $60 million to $68 million didn't seem to help.

Jennifer Lopez's Beverly Hills compound has replaced her Madison Square Park penthouse as her real-estate albatross. After seven years on the market, she finally sold the penthouse this summer, but the compound remains unsold.

Alec Baldwin has been trying to sell his Amagansett farmhouse since 2022, making a sad video about it in the process. The seven-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot home was originally listed for $29 million and saw several price cuts before being removed from Zillow in July.

Kylie Jenner and Scott have been trying to sell their Beverly Hills estate since 2022, when they split. It was originally listed for $21.9 million but has seen several price drops, landing at $15.9 million this summer. Despite the price cuts, it still hasn't sold.

Sean Combs's Holmby Hills mansion is overpriced and hasn't been selling well due to its connection to his sex-trafficking and racketeering charges. The ten-bedroom, 13-bath house was listed at $61 million in September but has an offer of $30 million from a real-estate investor.

Louis C.K.'s Shelter Island estate was put up for sale this summer for $9.25 million, but saw a price drop to $7.9 million and was eventually removed from the market. The six-bedroom, five-bathroom Tudor-style house includes restored fireplaces and a blue-and-white tiled kitchen.

Rob Lowe's four-bedroom contemporary home has been on and off the market since earlier this year, with prices ranging from $6.5 million to $5.5 million. It comes with a pool, putting course, and black cabinetry, but still hasn't sold.

Multi-million dollar mansions remain unsold in affluent neighborhoods nationwide.
