arken Associates has started building a 50,000-square-foot warehouse in Raritan Township, New Jersey. This project is part of the company's extensive commercial portfolio, which spans over 4 million square feet across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The new warehouse will be located near Flemington Junction Business Center, a four-building complex that reached full occupancy last year.
The property development is a significant addition to Larken Associates' growing presence in the region. In 2024, the company signed 406 leases totaling over 870,000 square feet across its properties. This included 117 new leases and 289 renewals, resulting in a high occupancy rate of 91.5% and a strong tenant retention rate of 93.6%.
According to David Gardner, president and CEO of Larken Associates, the company's success is rooted in its strategic ownership approach and asset management strategy. He expressed enthusiasm for continuing this momentum into 2025, providing tenants with high-quality spaces that support their businesses.
