usic producer Matthew Resnicoff has sold his Jupiter mansion, located within the exclusive Bears Club, for a staggering $15.3 million. This sale comes just over a year after he purchased it from Planet Fitness co-founder Michael Grondahl and his wife Lisa for $14.5 million.
The deal is part of South Florida's thriving real estate market, which has seen an uptick in activity following the election of Donald Trump. The Bears Club, founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, has become a highly sought-after destination for golf enthusiasts, with waitlists for memberships stretching up to five years for non-residents.
The 9,900-square-foot mansion at 162 Bears Club Drive boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a putting green, among other luxurious features. It was sold to Dana Falk, the widow of Ralph N. Falk II, who inherited a reported $70 million from his mother's estate in 1990. Falk is moving from California and had her heart set on joining the Bears Club community.
The sale follows a string of high-profile transactions within the club, including Michael Jordan's purchase of a second mansion for $16.5 million and investor Daniel Rifkin's acquisition of a property for $17.7 million. With several more listings hitting the market at record prices, real estate agents predict that prices in the community will continue to trend upwards as the season progresses.
