A
massive new development is underway in Katy, Texas. Drivers on the frontage road of Interstate 10 and the Texas Heritage Parkway may have noticed construction activity near the site of a $400 million mixed-use shopping center. Houston-based NewQuest is behind the project, which spans 165 acres in Waller County.
When complete, the Texas Heritage Marketplace will feature 750,000 square feet of retail and dining options, as well as 550 apartments across two communities. The development will also include nearly 300,000 square feet of medical office space and self-storage units. Target has signed on to anchor the project with a 149,000-square-foot store.
NewQuest has dedicated nearly a decade to bringing this vision to life.
