he Collier Cos. is expanding into South Carolina with its first project in the Nexton community, where it will build 360 new apartments. The company, based in Gainesville, Florida, has acquired land to develop the property and plans to offer a range of unit options, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans.

    Leasing is expected to begin in early 2027, with amenities such as a pool, gym, pet spa, and pickleball courts. The apartments will be located near popular Nexton destinations like Publix, Harris Teeter, and The Pickle Bar. Residents will also have access to a fitness center, pet park, bocce ball and pickleball courts, yoga lawn, and grilling stations.

    The Collier Cos., founded in 1972, has built over 12,000 apartments across Florida, Georgia, and now South Carolina. This new development marks the company's entry into the Palmetto State's multifamily market.
