icky Charles, a renowned interior designer, has collaborated with top chefs and celebrities on numerous projects. Her latest partnership is with Mario Carbone, the mastermind behind New York's iconic Carbone restaurant, to design a luxurious chef's kitchen and prep kitchen in a $29.5 million Miami skypad.
Located on the 46th floor of Villa Miami, this 12,000-square-foot duplex boasts six bedrooms, six baths, two powder rooms, and a private elevator. The residence features 1,226 square feet of outdoor space across four terraces, offering breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach.
The chef's kitchen is a culinary haven, complete with recessed water wells that replicate Carbone's pasta cookers, allowing residents to cook their favorite pastas without the need for conventional burners. The pantries are stocked with Carbone's signature oils and sauces, and home chef lessons and private chefs are available upon request.
Villa Miami is a 56-story steel-and-glass edifice designed by ODP Architects, with construction set to complete in 2026. This luxury building offers residents unparalleled access via land, sea, or rooftop helipad. Charles' goal was to blend grandeur with warmth, bringing a uniquely European sensibility to Miami's design landscape.
The residence features a main bedroom with a spa-like bath, two family rooms, a home office, and stunning views of the city skyline. The open dining area can seat 12 people, and the modern interiors are refined and sophisticated. Residents also have access to the Copper Club, Major Food Group's first residents-only club, which offers working spaces, lounges, a spa, a gym, a screening room, an elevated pool deck, and more.
Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the design, including a bank-style vault with safety deposit boxes available for residents. Charles' vision has created a timeless elegance and effortless livability that sets this residence apart from other Miami condos.
