rancisco Lindor and his wife, violinist‑podcaster Katia Reguero Lindor, have just moved into a new Upper East Side penthouse. The All‑Star shortstop paid $21.2 million for a 5,300‑sq‑ft loft that offers six bedrooms, 6½ baths and sweeping skyline views—ideal for the couple and their three children. The home sits near several top‑rated schools, underscoring Lindor’s commitment to the city.
The property was bought through an anonymous shell company and entered into contract in December 2024, roughly nine months after it first appeared on the market. It sits in a new‑construction building designed by Beyer Blinder Belle with interiors by Yellow House Architects. The building’s amenities include a gym, yoga room, infrared sauna, pet‑washing station, screening room, children’s playroom, teen lounge, and a music room complete with a recording booth and sound‑mixing gear.
Inside, the penthouse boasts 11‑foot ceilings, arched windows, a gas fireplace, and three terraces that frame the Manhattan skyline. A grand foyer opens to a 39‑foot living room with three arched windows and direct terrace access. A library and a formal dining room with curved corner molding also lead outdoors. A bar area with a full‑height wine fridge connects the dining room to a chef’s kitchen that features an island breakfast bar, two sinks, two dishwashers, and a custom banquette. The kitchen opens onto a terrace equipped with an outdoor grill and a dining/entertaining space.
The master suite includes two walk‑in closets and a spa‑like bath with heated marble floors. One of the five additional bedrooms can be combined with the primary suite, while the remaining four are in a separate wing. All six bedrooms have ensuite baths.
Lindor, who signed a $341 million, 10‑year contract with the Mets in 2021, married Reguero in the same year after meeting via Instagram DMs. The couple’s new home arrives as other Mets stars, such as Brandon Nimmo, are departing the team.
The listing was handled by Compass agents Alexa Lambert, Susan Wires, and Marc Achiles, with Douglas Elliman’s Dan Benichou representing Lindor.
