Mexican racing icon to purchase Miami home amidst F1 comeback rumors

exican racing driver Sergio "Checo" Pérez is set to purchase his first home in Miami, amidst rumors of a potential Formula 1 comeback. The four-bedroom, 5½-bathroom residence at Related Group's St. Regis Residences, Miami, boasts stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean from its 1809 Brickell Ave address.

    The 50-story tower, developed by Related and Integra Investments, features 150 condos and a range of luxurious amenities, including a residents-only fine-dining restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi. Pérez's new home will offer elevator access, a chef's kitchen, and a spacious 750-square-foot terrace.

    Pérez, a six-time Grands Prix winner, parted ways with Red Bull in December but is reportedly poised for a comeback with a new team in 2026. The St. Regis Residences, Miami, was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects with interiors by Rockwell Group and features a private marina, gym, Pilates and yoga studio, full-size pickleball court, and more.

    The building is now over 65% sold, with completion slated for 2027. Pérez's purchase comes as the tower continues to attract high-profile buyers, offering an unparalleled indoor/outdoor living experience with breathtaking city skyline and water views.
