n Nov. 3, 2025, a jury found Lyndon Akeem Wiggins guilty in a re‑trial ordered by the Minnesota Supreme Court for his role in the murder of a Minneapolis real‑estate agent during a staged showing at a Maple Lake house. The original conviction was overturned due to erroneous jury instructions. The new verdict includes: aiding/abetting first‑degree premeditated murder; aiding/abetting first‑degree premeditated attempted murder; aiding/abetting kidnapping to cause great bodily harm; and aiding/abetting first‑degree murder while committing kidnapping. Elsa Segura, who lured the victim, had her conviction reversed but later pleaded guilty to a 20‑year sentence.
