osh and Lindsey Uelmen, a couple who value family and hard work, opened the doors to their Glass Doctor franchise in West Bend on February 4. Located at 848 S. Main Street in the West Bend Plaza, the shop boasts an 8,000-square-foot space that can accommodate up to 10 vehicles.

    Josh, with his background in power plant equipment repair, has a passion for automotive work and grew up restoring cars with his father. However, instead of opening a full-service auto shop, they chose to specialize in auto glass repair and replacement. "We wanted to keep restoring cars as a hobby," Josh said. "Glass repair is a different challenge, and it's something people don't think about until they need it."

    The Uelmens were drawn to Glass Doctor due to its strong owner network and commitment to customer service. They appreciate the franchise's emphasis on respect, integrity, and customer focus. The new business has been welcomed by West Bend's automotive community, which includes nearby shops, Kwik Trip, and George Webb.
