he National Association of REALTORS has appointed Jarrod Grasso, CEO of NJ REALTORS, as its senior vice president of industry relations. In his new role, Grasso will focus on enhancing engagement with state and local associations by promoting NAR initiatives and resources to help members leverage them effectively.
NAR CEO Nykia Wright notes that investing in dedicated resources for state and local relations is crucial for addressing real-time challenges faced by leaders. She praises Grasso's reputation across the industry, saying he's uniquely qualified for this position due to his extensive experience at NJ REALTORS and national involvement.
Grasso has spent over two decades with NJ REALTORS, serving as CEO after holding roles as chief lobbyist and vice president of government affairs. He's also been active at the national level since 2003, including stints as an NAR director and chair of the Association Executives Committee in 2015.
Wright credits Grasso for being a trusted thought partner over the past year, working closely with the NAR team to identify state and local concerns. She believes his expertise and leadership are needed on a more frequent basis. Grasso has earned numerous industry achievements, including induction into the Association Executives Committee's Dr. Almon R. "Bud" Smith Leadership Society in 2013.
NAR President Kevin Sears praises Grasso's collaborative approach and extensive experience, saying he's well-suited to showcase the bonds that unite the REALTOR family and ensure effective collaboration at every level.
