A
local real estate agent in Panama City is challenging traditional thinking by selling waterfront homes within the city limits rather than along the beach. Carly Sostheim, a luxury real estate expert with Corcoran Reverie group, was recently featured on HGTV's House Hunters and shared her experience with News Channel 7.
Sostheim specializes in showcasing the lifestyle that comes with owning a waterfront home, rather than just selling houses. She says she tries to understand how buyers will truly live in each property, bringing this approach into her marketing efforts.
In April, Sostheim received an invitation from HGTV's House Hunters producers to feature her and her clients on their new season of Amazing Water Homes. Filming took place over four intense days, with 14-hour shoots. The episode showcased three waterfront properties, including a modern home in Panama City's private Northshore Island that Sostheim's clients ultimately purchased.
After six months of secrecy, the episode aired on January 1st, and Sostheim hosted a watch party to celebrate its premiere with family, friends, and clients.
