R
ichmond BizSense brought a lively discussion to the Broadberry last week, minus the music. Our second annual Open House: The State of Richmond's Residential Real Estate Market panel drew nearly 200 attendees on Wednesday morning.
The Homebuilding Association of Richmond presented the event, which featured a diverse group of experts: Dakia Knight of Icon Realty Group, Laura Lafayette of the Richmond Association of Realtors, Andrew Price of the Richmond Mortgage Bankers Association, Jonathan Ridout of HHHunt, and Harsh Thakker of Dorado Capital. They tackled key issues like home inventory, interest rates, and Realtor commissions that shape the local housing market.
Check out our slideshow for a glimpse into the event, captured by Daniel Scrobe Jr. We're grateful to HBAR, our Open House sponsors, and Broadberry owner Lucas Fritz and his team for making this happen.
Mark your calendars for future BizSense events, including our 12th annual RVA 25 awards celebration on November 4, honoring the region's fastest-growing companies. Click here for more information.
