aukesha County's affluent communities have seen significant growth in home prices since 2020, with a 37% increase according to the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors. In the first nine months of this year, the average Waukesha County home sold for $536,275.

    Recent sales data from Metro MLS reveals that six homes in Waukesha County sold for over $1 million in the last week of October. Here are some of those notable sales:

    A $1 million cottage on Lake Nagawicka in Hartland features 800 square feet and a quarter-acre lot. A custom-built home in Menomonee Falls sold for $1.02 million, boasting five bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a deck.

    In Elm Grove, a newly built farmhouse sold for $1.225 million, featuring three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a wooded setting that inspired its design. A Tudor-style home in Hartland's Bristlecone Pines neighborhood sold for $1.25 million, with five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and an estate-sized lot.

    A five-bedroom home in the Lakeside Conservancy community overlooking Pewaukee Lake sold for $1.5 million. Lastly, a custom-built ranch home in New Berlin's Autumn Trace subdivision, featured in the 2024 Parade of Homes, sold for $1.74 million.
