Southeastern Wisconsin industrial real estate market bounces back in second quarter after two quarters of decline.

he southeastern Wisconsin industrial real estate market rebounded in the second quarter, posting positive absorption of 1.1 million square feet after two quarters of negative absorption. According to a report from Moody's and the Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin, this uptick is a welcome sign for the market. However, despite the improvement, the vacancy rate ticked up slightly.

    A notable development in the region is the construction of WestRock Company's new $140 million corrugated box plant in Pleasant Prairie. The 593,564-square-foot facility was designed by Partners in Design Architects and represents a significant investment in the area's industrial sector.
