Suffolk Downs Secures New Retail Tenant with Women-Owned Fitness Studio

he Point Barre and Yoga, a woman-owned yoga and barre studio with locations in East Boston and Everett, is expanding to Suffolk Downs. The new studio will be located at 56 Salt Street in Revere and is set to open in Fall 2025.

    Founded in 2017, The Point aims to create a space that fosters well-being, emotional balance, and mindfulness for people of all ages and skill levels. The studio offers a range of yoga and barre classes, including Vinyasa Flow, Power Flow, and Mommy and Me Yoga, as well as Pilates, Dance Cardio, and HIIT classes.

    The Point's commitment to inclusivity is reflected in its partnership with AMCON, a women-owned construction firm. The studio's philosophy centers around building a supportive community where individuals can strengthen both body and spirit.

    Amaya, a 475-unit residential building at Suffolk Downs, will feature over 24,000 square feet of retail space, including The Point. Other new destinations include Twisted Fate Brewing and various fitness, dining, and entertainment options.

    Co-owner Jessica Drake added, "We strive to foster an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of their fitness level or experience." The Point's expansion to Suffolk Downs marks its third location and will further enhance the neighborhood's vibrancy.
