utter Health, along with The Sobrato Organization and Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group, is planning to construct two medical campuses totaling 1 million square feet in Santa Clara. The $800 million project will include ambulatory services and replace two vacant office buildings. The east and west campuses will be located a mile apart along Mission College Boulevard. The consortium has signed a 75-year ground lease for the west campus site, but details about the east campus property ownership and project approval are unclear. The east campus will focus on primary care and urgent care services, while the west campus will specialize in women's health, heart care, cancer treatment, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Additionally, West Valley-Mission College plans to develop a STEM Center next to the Sutter West Santa Clara Campus. Sutter Health also plans to open 27 ambulatory care centers across Northern California by 2027.
