ndustry veteran Carter Bechtol has joined Triten Real Estate Partners as a partner and head of Triten Residential. He will oversee the firm's multifamily holdings, including sourcing developments and acquisitions. Bechtol brings with him a wealth of experience, having led the development of over 8,000 apartment units valued at $1.8 billion across Texas, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Missouri during his tenure at Stanmore Partners.
In other news, Stream Realty Partners has appointed Jon Farris as vice chairman in its Houston office. Farris will work alongside Tyler Maner, managing director of industrial occupier services and landlord representation. Farris joins Stream Realty Partners from CBRE, where he honed his skills in the real estate industry.
JLL has expanded its Dallas-Fort Worth offices by adding three executives to its team. Jayme Schutt has been named senior vice president of workplace strategy in the Dallas office, where she will oversee office leasing. Schutt returns to JLL after a stint at Stream Realty Partners. Maggie Georgieva is joining the Fort Worth office as a senior general manager, moving stateside from JLL's London office. Mike Allen is also joining the Fort Worth office as a vice president on the retail team, leaving Weitzman.
JLL has further strengthened its team in Dallas-Fort Worth by appointing Ed Bovermann as regional managing director of its property management group in Houston and New Orleans. Bovermann brings with him extensive experience in managing office properties, having managed 5 million square feet of office properties in Houston's central business district during his time at Hines and Transwestern.
Partners Real Estate has hired Kyle Knox as managing director and Clint Gandy as senior vice president to its Valuation Advisory services in Dallas. Both Knox and Gandy are moving from Colliers, where they gained valuable experience in the real estate industry.
Houston-based Lee & Associates has expanded its services by acquiring Commercial Resource Capital. The acquisition allows Lee & Associates to offer financial advisory and investment brokerage services to its clients. "We've worked with them for decades and know our values and visions align," said Jason Dannatt, who is now head of capital markets for Lee & Associates.
Will Grimes has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Landsea Homes Corporation's Dallas-Fort Worth division. Grimes joins the firm from Farmers Branch-based Mattamy Homes and previously worked at Lennar Homes DFW. Landsea Homes Corporation, based in California, recently entered the Texas market by acquiring Dallas-based Antares Homes.
Baker Katz, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm, has hired Jack Moody as director of acquisitions. Moody previously worked at JLL Capital Markets and has closed over $1.6 billion worth of transactions in Houston, according to a news release.
