oscana Divino is reviving its presence in Miami with a pop-up location on Key Biscayne. The Italian restaurant's Hospitality Group has leased retail space at the Towers of Key Biscayne condominium, where it will open on Fridays and Saturdays starting October 4. Executive chef Andrea Marchesin will lead the culinary team. Tommaso Morelato, CEO of Toscana Divino Hospitality Group, founded the original outpost in Mary Brickell Village in 2012.
A Christmas decorations pop-up store called Joy By is coming to Coral Gables this holiday season. The 5,700-square-foot store at 348 Miracle Mile will open on October 26 and remain open for 90 days. Led by founder Stephanie Dardenne, Joy By is the U.S. expansion of Dubai-based luxury Christmas decorations store Irony Home.
Ockap Caviar, a new restaurant concept, has leased space in Brickell. The 2,100-square-foot unit at 1060 Brickell Avenue will open either by year-end or early next year. The entity behind Ockap Caviar is tied to South American private investors.
Planet Fitness will open its doors in Miami-Dade County's West Little River neighborhood in November. The gym has leased 20,000 square feet at the Northside Shopping Centre and will offer a range of fitness services.
Freddo, an Italian-style gelato store, is expanding its presence in Miami with new locations at Dadeland Mall and Miami International Mall. The stores are expected to open next year, joining existing locations in Cooper City and Palm Beach County.
