he Woodlands area saw fewer home sales in September 2024 compared to September 2023 in four ZIP codes, according to early October data. This trend continued from the previous month, where all but one ZIP code experienced lower sales.

    In terms of median home prices, four out of seven The Woodlands-area ZIP codes reported higher prices in September 2024 than in September 2023. The 77389 ZIP code saw a significant increase, with a 38% rise to $795,000. In contrast, the previous month's highest median price was found in the 77381 ZIP code.

    Homes spent more time on the market in five ZIP codes during September 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. The most popular price point for sales in September was between $300,000 and $599,999, with 110 homes sold within this range.
