Zac Brown's Georgia Mansion Up for Sale at $3.25M Amid Divorce: "Sad to Let Go"

Lake Lanier Residence: A Luxurious Property for Sale In June 2020, Brown purchased this stunning property for $1.8 million. Now, he's putting it on the market for a pretty penny.

C
ountry music sensation Zac Brown has put his Lake Lanier estate on the market for $3.25 million, as his divorce battle heats up. The property was purchased for $1.8 million in June 2020. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported on the listing.

Located about 45 miles northeast of Atlanta, the estate is situated in a gated community on the southern side of Lake Lanier, close to where Brown grew up in Cumming. The expansive 9,448-square-foot property boasts seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, offering a variety of perks to attract potential buyers.

The kitchen overlooks an open-concept vaulted living room and a fireside breakfast room that leads to a screened porch with stunning lake views. The main level features a primary suite with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, double vanities, and custom walk-in closets.

Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms and a library, while the terrace level offers a fully equipped bar, a rec room, a home gym, a sauna, and even a home theater.

Outside, there's a deck with a heated infinity pool and spa overlooking the lake, along with a boat house that includes a climate-controlled space for two boats and additional living quarters upstairs. The property's party credentials are top-notch, with a two-slip covered cedar deck, two hydro boat lifts, and two jet ski lifts.

The home occupies nearly 10,000 square feet and has been a wonderful home for Brown and his family, offering a sense of privacy and seclusion while still being close to Atlanta. Brown expressed sadness at letting go of the property but is excited for new memories to fill the space. The listing is held by Katie McGuirk of Ansley Real Estate — Christie’s International Real Estate.

This move comes as Brown navigates a difficult split from his most recent wife, Kelly Yazdi. The couple were married for just four months before announcing their separation last December. Things quickly turned sour, with Brown filing a lawsuit against Yazdi in May, accusing her of violating a confidentiality agreement and damaging his reputation. A judge, however, denied his request for a temporary restraining order.

Yazdi then filed her own lawsuit, claiming that Brown used actual footage from their wedding in the music video for his hit “Beautiful Drug” featuring Avicii and cast an actress to portray her negatively. A request for comment on the proceedings was not returned by press time.

This isn't Brown's first time dealing with marital issues. He was married to Shelly Brown for 12 years before their 2018 divorce. The former couple shares five children together — four daughters and a son.
