PANDION has acquired the first gastronomic tenant for the OFFICEHOME Rise project, currently under construction in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk. The Dong Wu concept, specialising in authentic Chinese cuisine, will occupy an area of approximately 230 square metres on the ground floor of the future office high-rise. The opening of this location is scheduled for early 2027.
The Dong Wu gastronomy concept is already established with existing locations in Düsseldorf and Cologne. It focuses on Chinese specialities, particularly from the Sichuan and Chongqing regions, thereby expanding the culinary offerings in Düsseldorf-Unterbilk.
Strategic Development of the Gastronomy Offering
This first letting is based on a specific gastronomic location concept developed by Progacon. This concept aims to create added value for the future office tenants of OFFICEHOME Rise, as well as for the existing urban environment, through a diversification of the food offering. There is already interest in the remaining gastronomy spaces in the project; further contract signings are imminent.
Sebastian Potz, Head of Commercial Development at PANDION, commented on the significance of this step. He emphasised that a modern office location thrives on its extended offerings beyond the mere workspace, with gastronomy playing a crucial role. With Dong Wu, a first important building block has been laid, whose offering will be complemented by further gastronomic concepts. The aim is to make OFFICEHOME Rise a culinarily attractive destination for tenants and the district in the future.
