Peter Gross Bau celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for a new office building at Gülser Weg 7 in Bassenheim, near Koblenz. This project serves to expand the company's presence in the Koblenz area and to continue Peter Gross Bau's nationwide expansion strategy.

The new building is designed for an area of almost 3,270 square metres and is set to provide 165 modern workplaces. The building will comprise two full storeys, supplemented by a superimposed staggered storey, which is intended to ensure a clear cubic form. A key design element is the BFT sandwich façade, which originates from Peter Gross Bau's in-house prefabrication plant in St. Ingbert. The façade elements will be installed in the company colours and with a surface-finished concrete colouring. Heating and cooling cassettes are planned for climate control in the office units.

Before the official start of the shell construction, activities are concentrating on measures for species protection. Specific habitats are being created on the site, which will be continued in the later outdoor facilities. These structures are primarily intended to provide a suitable habitat for wall lizards. The start of shell construction is scheduled for mid-2026, with the completion of the entire project expected by the end of 2027.

Natalja Kronenberg, Mayor of Bassenheim, regards the construction project as a strong signal for Bassenheim as a business location. She highlighted that Peter Gross Bau, through this investment in modern workplaces, is making a long-term commitment to the municipality of Bassenheim.

Dimitri Janzen, Head of the Koblenz Building Construction Office at Peter Gross Bau, emphasised that the company is experiencing strong growth throughout Germany and wishes to expand its regional presence. He underscored the necessity of a personal presence on construction sites, with municipal administrations, service providers, and clients as indispensable for a construction company.
