PKF hospitality group is expanding its German consulting team, led by Ulrike Schüler, with the re-appointment of Tobias Siegel. Siegel, a proven specialist in hotel and serviced living concepts, resumed his position on 1 September. He will operate from the company's Berlin office, managing both national and international consulting mandates.
Tobias Siegel was previously with PKF hospitality group between 2019 and 2024. During this period, he significantly shaped the development of the serviced living consulting division globally. In his previous role, he supported numerous projects encompassing hotels, serviced apartments, co-living offerings, and aparthotels. His return strengthens the team with comprehensive market knowledge and international hospitality experience.
Focus on the German market
In his current position, Siegel will place a strong emphasis on the German market. He commented that despite the currently challenging economic conditions, the German hotel and serviced living market continues to offer attractive prospects. He particularly highlighted the ongoing interest of international investors in Germany as a long-term relevant location. He expressed his pleasure at returning to PKF hospitality group to collaborate with the team on complex hotel and serviced living projects in Germany and Europe and to drive their development forward.
Before entering hotel consulting, the trained hotel professional gained operational experience in international luxury hotels. His career stations included Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Dubai. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in International Hotel Management from Hotelschool The Hague, as well as an MBA from Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin.
