Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate, has appointed Travis Harvey as its new Global Head of Development. In this role, Harvey will lead the company's global development and construction platform across North and South America, Asia, and Europe. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including eleven years at Prologis itself.
Harvey succeeds Greg Bauer, who retired after 30 years with the company. Harvey expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build upon the legacy created by Bauer. He emphasised the central role of development in customer service, supporting local communities, and creating value for investors. His priorities include strengthening the platform, intensifying the use of technology and data, and continuing to support the teams delivering projects worldwide.
Personnel Changes in the US East
Sheila Sutton will succeed Harvey as Senior Vice President and Head of Development Management for the US East region. Previously, she served as Vice President and Development Officer for the New York and New Jersey markets. Sutton joined Prologis in 2022 from Duke Realty, following Prologis' acquisition of Duke Realty in October 2022. At Duke Realty, she was responsible for construction project management in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Sutton highlighted Prologis' track record in the East region, particularly in innovative logistics projects in key global supply chain hubs, from Toronto to Miami. She expressed eagerness to continue this momentum with the teams, customers, and local partners to deliver projects that strengthen local economies and communities.
Both promotions took effect on 1 July. The announcement followed shortly after Prologis released its second-quarter results. The company reported record leasing and that its data centre initiation forecast had already been surpassed in the current year.
