The Robert C. Spies group of companies has finalised the brokering of a centrally located development plot with existing buildings in Diepholz to the City of Diepholz. The seller of the site was a private ownership community. The parties to the contract agreed not to disclose the exact purchase price.
The brokered property ensemble comprises the addresses Lange Straße 57–60 as well as Lappenberger Rott 1–6 and 9. The total area of these properties is approximately 2,300 square metres. These parcels are an integral part of the so-called Lappenberg area and are located in the immediate vicinity of Diepholz city centre, which highlights their strategic importance.
Planning a Health and City Centre
The City of Diepholz is pursuing the development of a central medical centre on the acquired site. The project envisages the construction of several buildings, complemented by a multi-storey car park. The aim is to sustainably strengthen outpatient medical care in the region. At the same time, this development is intended to provide a significant impetus for the revitalisation of the northern city centre area.
Construction for this project is scheduled to begin in 2028. Mayor Florian Marré emphasised that the acquisition of this central plot represents an essential foundation for the further development of the Lappenberg area. He highlighted that the planned combination of medical care and city centre development represents a decisive building block for the future-oriented urban development of Diepholz.
Jan Schneider, Managing Partner of Robert C. Spies Immobilien im Bremer Norden GmbH, noted that centrally located plots offer the opportunity to redesign existing structures and generate long-term added value for the respective location. He expressed his satisfaction with the successful conclusion of this process.
