Premium workspace provider Satellite Office has officially opened its new Munich location under the project name MAXI14 at Maximilianstraße 14. Following the operational launch in early October, the ceremonial inauguration of the premises has now taken place in the presence of around 230 guests from business, media and design. For the company, the move marks a strategic milestone: owner Anita Gödiker had waited roughly ten years for the opportunity to secure a prestigious property on Munich's historic boulevard.
The property comprises around 2,000 square metres of usable space spread across three floors. The spatial layout includes 40 private office units, three conference rooms, open lounges, a fireside lounge and sound-insulated retreat areas. The infrastructure is complemented by a dedicated podcast studio equipped with professional audio and video technology for media productions and interviews. Alongside long-term leases for permanent offices, the building offers flexible day passes and business addresses supported by a multilingual service team.
Fit-out based on proprietary spatial concept
The proprietary pureSilent spatial concept was employed in the interior design. This combines tailored lighting and acoustic planning with high-quality materials and an understated colour palette. For furnishings and lighting, the operator drew on collections from international brands such as Cassina, Occhio, Artemide and Brunner. The objective of this fit-out is a working environment offering high acoustic comfort.
Demand for upscale office space in Munich's core location proved strong even prior to the official opening event. According to company figures, more than half of the lettable space had already been taken by the time of the inauguration. Anita Gödiker sees this as confirmation of her selective choice of prime locations, which focuses uncompromisingly on address quality and premium specifications.
Further expansion of the Munich portfolio
At the grand opening, Anita Gödiker and Philipp Rupprecht, Director Satellite Office Munich, led the programme alongside presenter Philipp Bächstädt. Christoph Angerbauer from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria delivered welcoming remarks, while musicians Alexander Dimitrov on cello and Laura Zarina on violin accompanied the evening.
MAXI14 is already the provider's third branch in the Bavarian capital. The expansion began in 2011 with the Ludwigpalais at Odeonsplatz, followed by the Alte Hopfenpost at Rundfunkplatz in 2016. A further addition is already scheduled: in early 2027, Satellite Office plans to open a fourth location in Munich with Villa Goethe.
