Skins Cosmetics, a provider in the beauty and skincare segment, has completed the letting of a retail space in a central location in Düsseldorf. The address Mittelstraße 2 / Flinger Straße 23–25 has been selected as the new location for the company. The planned opening of the store is scheduled for July 2026, following the completion of extensive renovation work on the retail premises.
The retail area in question comprises approximately 300 square metres on the ground floor. Here, Skins Cosmetics plans to present its entire range of beauty and care products to a wide clientele. The letting underlines the company's expansion course in German retail.
Parties Involved and Location Analysis
As part of the transaction, Lührmann acted as an advisor for the landlord and was responsible for facilitating the mediation process. Skins Cosmetics' rental interests were represented and supported by RECONDO Retail Real Estate GmbH. This constellation of advisory parties ensured professional handling of the lease agreement conclusion.
The choice of the Mittelstraße location is considered strategically significant by experts. Lena-Sophie Lübeck, Consultant Retail Letting at Lührmann's Düsseldorf office, commented on the development of Mittelstraße. She stated that it has evolved into one of Düsseldorf's most distinctive shopping streets in recent years and impresses with its vibrant urban environment. With the establishment of Skins Cosmetics, the street will be complemented by a high-quality concept that optimises the existing industry mix and further strengthens the attractiveness of the location. The new store will thus harmoniously integrate into the retail fabric of the relevant area.
Extensive modernisation and adaptation work is planned for the retail space in the coming months. These measures are necessary to align the business premises with Skins Cosmetics' specific requirements and design concept, and to create an appealing presentation area for the products. The opening in July 2026 is conditional on the completion of this construction phase.
