The international commercial law firm Taylor Wessing has opted for approximately 6,000 square metres of office space in Benrather Karree in Düsseldorf. The lease followed extensive consultation by BNP Paribas Real Estate, which exclusively supported the firm as part of a 'Stay vs. Move' mandate. The aim was to identify the optimal long-term office solution for the partnership.
The decision for the Benrather Straße 18 – 20 location allows Taylor Wessing to retain the highly valued micro-location in the heart of Düsseldorf's Central Business District. Simultaneously, this measure optimises the firm's space concept for the future. This choice of location underscores the priority of adapting the working environment to modern requirements while preserving proven infrastructural advantages.
Consultation and Space Concept
Consultation on the development of the new space concept was provided by internal specialists from Project Solutions, a division of BNP Paribas Real Estate. Technical support was provided by Drees & Sommer, who contributed their expertise to the process. This collaboration ensured comprehensive evaluation and planning of the new premises.
Benrather Karree, whose landlord is Deka Immobilien, offers a solid basis for efficient internal communication pathways with its generously designed floor sizes across two levels. Long-term Leasing Strategy
The re-letting of the space to Taylor Wessing will prospectively occur following the departure of the previous anchor tenant, Hengeler Müller. Deka Immobilien was thus able to re-let part of the space before its release in summer 2027.
