UBM Development AG completed the exchange offer for its existing 2023 to 2027 bond as scheduled on 16 October 2026. The instrument, which has an original total nominal volume of EUR 50 million, saw significant reallocation during the transaction. Investors opted to exchange around EUR 18 million in nominal value into the successor instrument. This corresponds to an exchange ratio of 36 per cent, which represents a notable result in view of the historically high retail placement of the old bond.
Structure and terms of the new green bond
The successor product operates under the name 7% UBM Green Bond 2026-2031 and carries the ISIN AT0000A3XJY7. The fixed-income security has a term of five years. The fixed price for the issue, the so-called re-offer price, was set at 99.50 per cent as part of the emission. The coupon amounts to 7.00 per cent annually.
Parallel to the exchange offer, the cash subscription period for the new green bond has already been open since 6 October 2026. Including the exchange result achieved, the total subscribed volume currently stands at EUR 54 million in nominal terms. The offering is aimed at a wide range of investors both domestically and abroad.
