Priddy Spaces has concluded a 20,000 square foot lease for a Venture X coworking location in Pompano Beach, Florida. The coworking operator is leasing space for 10 years in a 44,102 square foot office property within Grover Corlew's Mayla Pompano mixed-use development project. The four-storey office building, located at 2335 East Atlantic Boulevard, is situated two blocks east of Dixie Highway and was completed in 2020.
The new coworking location will encompass the second, third, and fourth floors of the building. It will offer 85 private office suites and four meeting rooms. The opening is scheduled for the coming year.
Pompano Beach Undergoing Transformation
Kevin Priddy, Co-Founder and CEO of Priddy Spaces, stated that Pompano Beach is currently experiencing one of the most exciting transformations in South Florida. The combination of new residential developments, improved infrastructure, a vibrant culinary and retail offering, and proximity to the beach has created an environment where businesses and talent wish to be located.
Pompano Beach, long known as a working-class town, is currently seeing a wave of luxury condominium developments along its coastline, including from Miami-based Related Group and other project developers.
Background of the Parties Involved
Priddy Spaces, based in West Palm Beach, is a Venture X franchisee and operates five locations in South Florida. Vast Coworking Group acts as the franchisor. The private equity firm New State Capital Partners acquired Vast Coworking Group earlier this year for an undisclosed amount. Priddy Spaces already operates a Venture X location in nearby Boca Raton on Grover Corlew's Palmetto Central office campus.
The four-hectare Mayla Pompano mixed-use development includes, in addition to the office space, a 355-unit apartment building and two further office properties.
