VIB Vermögen AG, a company in the real estate sector, has announced the letting of over 5,600 square metres of office and service space to a single, nationwide tenant. These transactions encompass three separate properties at different locations and underscore the company's presence in the German commercial real estate market. The concluded contracts are long-term commitments and contribute to stabilising VIB Vermögen AG's rental income.
In Bonn, a total of approximately 2,800 square metres was let in Heinrich-von-Stephan-Strasse 7-9 and Heinemannstrasse 11-13. These spaces are currently being prepared and are expected to be ready for occupancy by the end of the year. The central location of these properties offers the new tenant optimal connectivity and functional working environments. The spaces in Bonn are part of VIB Vermögen AG's Institutional Business.
Locations and Property Characteristics
Another lease agreement was signed for an area of 2,200 square metres in Neubrandenburg. The property at Alfred-Lythall-Strasse 2, near Pferdemarkt, comprises a larger part of the former AOK Nordost building. This location is part of VIB Vermögen AG's own portfolio and represents its broad portfolio, which includes both institutionally held and self-managed properties.
In Dortmund, 620 square metres were let in the HCC Dortmund, Königswall 21. The HCC Dortmund is a property that complies with the BREEAM 'very good' standard and is thus certified as a 'Green Building'. This property is also assigned to VIB's Institutional Business. Discussions regarding additional lettings to the same user are still anticipated for this location, signalling the potential for further expansion of the collaboration.
Martin Karehnke, Managing Director of Branicks Onsite GmbH, which is responsible for the internal group processing of these lettings for VIB, commented on the transactions. He highlighted that the successful lettings to a significant institutional partner at various locations demonstrate the company's nationwide presence, competence, and reputation in the letting market. He emphasised that the company is succeeding in establishing long-term partnerships and systematically reducing vacancies, even in a challenging market environment.
