European aparthotel brand Adagio Access is expanding into the Baltic market. From December 2026, the Hessnery Hotel in the Estonian capital Tallinn will be operated as an Adagio Access aparthotel under a franchise agreement with hotel group Accor. For the existing hotel, the agreement represents the transition into its next phase of development, whilst Adagio is realising its first property in Eastern Europe.
Tallinn has seen continuous growth as a destination for business travel and city tourism. The accommodation concept of Adagio Access combines the independence and layout of conventional apartments with hotel services to meet this demand.
Facilities profile and operating concept
The Hessnery Hotel features 84 fully equipped accommodation units designed for short breaks as well as extended stays. Each apartment is fitted with its own kitchenette, meeting the requirements of long-stay guests. In addition to the private units, the building offers supplementary functional service areas.
- —84 fully equipped apartments with integrated kitchenette
- —Dedicated fitness area for hotel guests
- —Central launderette for short- and long-term stays
- —On-site beauty area
Arthur Jaeger, Chief Development and Real Estate Officer at Adagio, described the signing of the agreement as a strategic milestone. He noted that the opening marks the entry into the Eastern European market and underlines the objective to expand the brand's presence in the Baltic and Nordic regions over the long term. The dynamics of Tallinn as a location match the requirements profile of Adagio Access precisely.
Integration into international distribution structures
Reimo Metsküll, board member of operating company Hessnery OÜ, stated that the partnership opens a new chapter for the property. Since its opening, the focus has been on combining apartment-style flexibility with hotel services. Through integration into the Accor network, the property gains access to global distribution platforms and the group's loyalty programme, which is intended to further strengthen its competitive position amongst international guests.
The full operational transition to the Adagio Access standard is scheduled for the end of 2026. The project highlights the ongoing professionalisation of the serviced apartment segment in the north-eastern European hospitality market.
