Allied Global Marketing, a marketing firm specialising in hospitality and sport, has renewed its office space lease in the historic Woolworth Building in the Financial District. The company has signed a three-year extension agreement for the 28,098 square feet of office space it occupies, which spans the entire 13th floor of the building. Owned by Cammeby’s International, the Lower Manhattan property has been home to Allied Global Marketing since 2016, according to the landlord.
Cammeby’s did not disclose the asking rent. According to a CBRE report, the average office asking rent in Lower Manhattan in the second quarter of 2026 was $61.34 per square foot.
Strategic decision for the location
Aron Weber, Regional Director at Cammeby’s, stated in a release that companies remaining and growing in the Woolworth Building are looking for more than just conventional office space. They value the building's identity, the quality of its premises, and the opportunity to be part of a community that includes leading players from architecture, fashion, marketing, design, and culture. Allied Global Marketing's extension underscores this strategy.
For Cammeby’s, David Ofman and Brian Siegel of The Lawrence Group acted. David Dusek of Cushman & Wakefield negotiated on behalf of the tenant. Dusek emphasised that the location is ideal for employees and offers exceptional access to public transport. Given the importance of the iconic building, the quality of the owner, and the strength of the location, remaining in the property for the foreseeable future was the clear way forward.
Prominent tenant community
The building at 233 Broadway, often referred to as the “Cathedral of Commerce,” houses other notable tenants. These include SHoP Architects, which expanded its space to 56,196 square feet in March, and the French-inspired restaurant and lounge Goody’s, which occupied 5,000 square feet on the ground floor in May.
