Aroundtown has achieved BREEAM recertification with an "Excellent" rating for the Trevista office complex in Eschborn. This result marks a significant improvement compared to the initial certification, which concluded with a "Good" rating. The renewed award underscores the sustainable orientation of the property and demonstrates the continuous integration of relevant sustainability aspects into operational building management.
Trevista is located at Helfmann-Park 8-10 in Eschborn and offers flexible office spaces. Its location in the Rhine-Main region ensures good accessibility via the A66 and A5 motorways. Frankfurt Airport and Frankfurt city centre are quickly reachable. Eschborn Süd S-Bahn station, served by lines S3 and S4 every 15 minutes, is approximately one kilometre away. The underground car park provides around 400 parking spaces as well as 24 charging points for electric vehicles. An in-house café, a canteen with a terrace, and various roof terraces complement the offering. Restaurants and shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity.
Sustainability aspects and technical features
In addition to its location, the property is characterised by comprehensive sustainability quality and specific measures in building operation. Trevista's final energy consumption is approximately 39 percent below the local benchmark. A photovoltaic system on the roof generates renewable electricity directly on site. Water-saving fittings reduce potable water consumption. The central Smartvatten water monitoring system digitally records consumption and identifies potential leaks early. Further focuses include accessibility, a reuse and recycling concept, and the consideration of climate change-related impacts in flood risk assessment. Approximately 44 percent of the plot is designed as green space, complemented by extensive green roofing.

The building achieves a high rating in the areas of health and wellbeing, energy efficiency, resilience, and land use and ecology, thereby realising a healthy working environment and energy-efficient building operation. Trevista's digital infrastructure has also been awarded WiredScore Gold.
Marlene Balonier, BREEAM Expert at Aroundtown, stated that after the initial "Good" certification, Trevista has now achieved an "Excellent" rating. She explained that the solid foundation established back then was key to consistently exploiting its potential. The result confirms their approach of comprehensively considering all facets of sustainability in existing buildings. The certification also serves as a benchmark for the continuous development of their properties. Alexander Rüb, Head of the National BREEAM D-A-CH System Representative Office at TÜV SÜD, emphasised that existing buildings hold great potential, which Trevista impressively demonstrates. He explained that by specifically working on sustainability performance, Aroundtown laid the groundwork for the "Excellent" rating, and this progress is clearly proven by the recertification.
