Global real estate service provider CBRE has received a mandate for the asset and property management of Taunus Tower in Eschborn. The client is the owner company Xanadu Properties S.à r.l. The asset management mandate comes into effect on 1 October 2026, while the property management mandate is valid from 1 January 2027. This appointment underscores CBRE's expertise in integrated real estate management.
Property description and location
Taunus Tower is located at Mergenthalerallee 73–75 in Eschborn and represents an established office location. Built in 1998, the office high-rise offers a rental area of approximately 16,000 square metres, spread across 16 upper floors. The plot covers an area of approximately 6,285 square metres. The property features a prestigious, two-storey lobby, flexibly usable office spaces, as well as an underground car park and outdoor parking spaces. The location in Eschborn is known for its excellent accessibility and connectivity, making it attractive for prominent tenants.
Taunus Tower boasts a diversified tenant mix. Deutsche Bahn acts as the anchor tenant. Other tenants, which highlight the quality of the location, include Qontigo and Deutsche Börse. This composition contributes to the stability and attractiveness of the property in the market.
Strategy and future direction
Henrik O. Schleicher, Head of Asset Services at CBRE, commented on the appointment, emphasising that an integrated management approach is being pursued for Taunus Tower. This approach encompasses the interlocking of asset management, property management, leasing, and ESG consulting. The aim is to strengthen the building's market position, continuously develop the quality, efficiency, and attractiveness of the property, and thereby secure its long-term value development.
