The nationally operating transaction boutique combine Transaction has announced a significant expansion of its management board in Munich. Peter Bigelmaier will join the company as Managing Director from 1 October 2026. This appointment marks the continuation of building up the leadership team, which has been steadily strengthened since the boutique's founding in early 2023 by Konstantin von Barcsay and Oliver A. Dittmar, and the addition of Markus Wittmann in 2024.
Mr. Bigelmaier will assume responsibility for Business Development for the Munich office and will also provide support at a national level. His expertise in the commercial real estate market, particularly in southern Germany, is considered extensive. With over three decades of transaction experience from leading consulting firms, he is described as a proven office specialist with in-depth knowledge of both landlord and tenant sides.
Background and future role
Until 2024, Mr. Bigelmaier served as Managing Director at Colliers Deutschland and Head of Letting in Munich, a position he previously held at the former Immobilienkontor Schauer & Schöll. In this role, he advised on numerous letting mandates for owners and occupiers. His professional career began at BNP Paribas Real Estate, formerly Müller International. Most recently, he was Managing Director of PTxRE and a board member of neoshare AG, which underscores his diverse experience.
Konstantin von Barcsay, Managing Director of combine Transaction, highlighted that Mr. Bigelmaier knows the Munich office market extremely well and is one of the well-connected real estate consultants. Mr. von Barcsay expressed his pleasure at working together again after a separation of almost four years, to jointly expand the success of combine Transaction. Markus Wittmann, also a Managing Director at combine Transaction, emphasised that Bigelmaier's decision to join the company is seen as confirmation of the current course. He is delighted to have a long-standing companion and partner on board to further drive the company's development.
Peter Bigelmaier himself justified his decision with combine Transaction's approach of combining transaction expertise with a comprehensive view of the property. He explained that a letting begins with the space strategy, the actual requirement, the available product, and the suitable merging of owner and occupier. He aims to further develop this ambition in Munich and nationwide with an entrepreneurially managed team, advising clients on both sides of the market.
Strategic importance of the reinforcement
The strategic integration of Peter Bigelmaier underscores combine Transaction's ambition to consolidate and expand its position in the German real estate market. The bundling of many years of market experience and an established network is considered a key factor for further business development. The expansion of the management board reflects the continuous growth strategy and the endeavour to offer well-founded advisory expertise in a complex market environment. This personnel decision is expected to further strengthen the company's competence in commercial real estate, particularly in the office segment.
