eliso, a specialist in High Power Charging solutions, is currently implementing the installation of 78 rapid charging points across Germany. This infrastructure will be deployed at 15 retail parks belonging to the French real estate manager PAREF Gumholf Deutschland. The management of these properties falls under the PAREF Prima Fund.
PAREF Gumholf Deutschland, a subsidiary of the French PAREF GROUP, acts as the asset manager and AIFM for the PAREF Prima Fund. This fund invests in German retail properties with tenant diversification. By adding charging infrastructure at these locations, the attractiveness of the properties for consumers is expected to further increase, taking into account the growing prevalence of electromobility.
Details of Implementation
The charging points to be installed constitute a high-performance infrastructure. The technical equipment includes 400 Volt HPC charging stations, enabling a charging capacity of up to 300 kW. This configuration allows electric vehicles to be charged within a short period, which is significant for locations with typically shorter dwell times, such as retail parks. The project encompasses the complete planning, installation, and operation of the charging infrastructure.
For this implementation, eliso is cooperating with EnBW as a roaming partner to enable the use of the charging infrastructure across a broad network. Furthermore, collaboration is underway with Wallbe GmbH, a manufacturer of charging solutions. These partnerships are intended to ensure smooth setup and long-term stable operation of the charging stations.
Strategic Relevance
The integration of charging solutions at retail locations is considered an essential factor for the future viability and attractiveness of properties in the retail segment. By providing charging options, an additional service is offered to visitors of the retail parks. This can contribute to increased dwell time and improved customer loyalty. The decision to implement the charging infrastructure reflects a response to changing consumer mobility needs and contributes to the sustainability strategy of the real estate investment.
