HighBrook Investors, a private equity firm specialising in real estate investments in US and European growth markets, has successfully concluded the sale of the "Pand Noord" office property. The asset, with a gross floor area of approximately 10,000 square metres, is located in Amsterdam-North and was transferred to a prominent Dutch investor. The transaction took place off-market and was based on an existing business relationship, as the buyer had already acquired an adjacent plot of land from HighBrook in October 2024.
The "Pand Noord" property, located at Meeuwenlaan 98-100, is distinguished by the combination of a historic building section from 1917 with a modern extension from 2006. HighBrook Investors acquired this property in November 2017. Following the acquisition, extensive renovation was carried out with the aim of repositioning the building as a high-quality office location.
Value Creation Through Active Repositioning
The repositioning of the asset included its integration into "The Collection", a collaboration between HighBrook Investors and REB Projects. This partnership establishes a network of high-quality office spaces in prime locations in Amsterdam. The measures undertaken significantly contributed to leasing success and attracted premium tenants, particularly from the creative industries. Tenants in "Pand Noord" have access to first-class meeting rooms, a restaurant, a cinema, a gym, and shared e-bikes.

History and Modernity in Amsterdam-North
The front part of "Pand Noord" was originally built in 1917 for a crane manufacturer in the context of Amsterdam's shipping industry and later served as a film school. Today, the building combines its industrial heritage with modern office spaces in the sought-after Amsterdam-North submarket. During the transaction, HighBrook was advised by consultants Broersma and Loyens & Loeff. The buyer was advised by CityState and Greenberg Traurig.
