The newly opened Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa represents the return of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand to Greece. The resort, strategically located a five-minute walk from the entrance to Chania Old Town and a 20-minute drive from the airport, aims to establish Chania as a year-round international destination. This will be achieved through an offering of culinary experiences, wellness facilities and flexible event spaces.

The family-friendly city resort features 85 elegant rooms and suites. Each unit is equipped with a private balcony, a heated pool, and some with a sauna, accentuating the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Guests of the resort also have access to a heated infinity pool on the rooftop, a botanical garden with panoramic views, a fully equipped spa and wellness centre, and modern fitness facilities.

The hotel integrates various gastronomic concepts. 'Poème de la Canée' serves as a two-floor all-day dining restaurant with Mediterranean influences. 'Céleste' offers a rooftop experience with an infinity pool and views of the Aegean Sea. Furthermore, the 'Fauchon Café Pâtisserie' makes its debut in Greece, offering pastries and the classic five o'clock tea. A selection of aged spirits and cigars is available at 'The C Bar'. In addition, the 'Little Galaxy' rooftop garden is available for relaxation and private events.

David Kelly, Senior Vice President Continental Europe at Hilton, commented on the opening. He emphasised the significance of this property for the brand's growth in Greece. Kelly referred to over 50 hotels across various brands that Hilton already operates in the country. The new hotel is designed to host international guests year-round and provide them with an upscale stay near Chania Old Town.

The resort's wellness area, the L'Occitane en Provence Spa, is designed according to the brand's international concept and includes four treatment rooms, a hammam, saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation areas. This is complemented by a light-filled indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool with sea views. A fitness centre with modern technology is also available. The option to purchase L'Occitane skincare products rounds off the offering.

Lambros Tsiledakis, Vice President of Development and Operations at the Tsiledakis Group, underlined the strategic importance of the Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa as a long-term investment. He highlighted that this development creates a year-round destination with international standards, which is intended to enhance Chania and strengthen the local economy. The aim is to offer an experience that meets the expectations of modern international travellers while preserving the authentic character of the region.
