Infinium Wall Systems, a company that designs, engineers, and installs wall systems and doors for offices, has leased a new 30,017 square foot office and retail space at 1359 Broadway, a building owned by Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT). The landlord announced this on Monday.
Strategic Leasing Decision in Midtown
Ryan Kass, Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Real Estate, and Chief Revenue Officer at ESRT, expressed his pleasure about the new lease, noting that innovative companies continue to seek well-located, modernised office spaces in New York City. The lease terms and duration of the contract were not disclosed. In the second quarter of 2026, the average asking rent for office space in Midtown was USD 84.99 per square foot, according to Colliers Research.
Infinium Wall Systems was represented in the transaction by Sarah Pontius, Jerica Lam, Carleigh Bettiol, and Charlotte Reaman of Artisan Alliance. ESRT was supported internally by Jordan Berger, Shanae Ursini, and Kerry Lavelle, along with Robert Lowe, Ron Lo Russo, Anthony LoPresti, and Dan Organ of Cushman & Wakefield.
Shawn Gaffney, founder of Infinium Wall Systems, told Commercial Observer that the company had explored numerous locations in Midtown, and 1359 Broadway consistently stood out. He emphasised that, in addition to the quality of the building, ESRT's commitment to sustainability, long-term ownership, and partnership aligned well with their own values. The south-facing aspect, private entrance, outdoor terrace, and the opportunity to create a truly differentiated space made the property the clear choice for the company's New York flagship.
This lease represents an expansion for Infinium, which already has an office and showroom at 44 East 32nd Street. Built in 1924, 1359 Broadway is a 22-storey office building whose tenants also include the artificial intelligence company Scaled Cognition and the non-profit organisation Braven.
