LBP AM European Private Markets (EPM) has reinforced its Infrastructure Debt division with new personnel. Phuong Anh Nguyen joined as Investment Manager in September 2026 for this division, which is led by Bérénice Arbona. Her primary task will be to assist in the acquisition and implementation of new transactions. This appointment underscores EPM's strategic direction to expand its capabilities in the infrastructure financing segment.

Nguyen brings extensive experience in structuring complex infrastructure financings. Before joining LBP AM European Private Markets, she worked as an Investment Manager for Infrastructure Debt at BNP Paribas Asset Management since 2022. There, she contributed to the structuring of relevant financing transactions in sectors such as energy, transport, telecommunications, and utility infrastructure. Her previous professional career includes positions at TotalEnergies Renewables and PwC, among others.

Strategic Expansion of Financing Expertise

Bérénice Arbona, Head of Infrastructure Debt at LBP AM, stated that with Phuong Anh Nguyen, an experienced expert in sophisticated structuring and financing, particularly in the high-yield sector, has been gained. This expands the company's ability to identify attractive investment opportunities and implement them with the diligence and discipline characteristic of their approach. This additional expertise is particularly important given the growing financing needs in core European markets, such as Germany.

LBP AM's Infrastructure Debt division has invested approximately EUR 3.7 billion since 2012 and financed more than 80 infrastructure projects across Europe. The continuous strengthening of the team signals the strategic importance of this sector for the company.

Focus on Core European Markets

For LBP AM European Private Markets, Germany represents a strategic growth market. The platform has had a branch office in Frankfurt am Main since early 2026. EPM anticipates that the high investment demand in the energy, transport, and digital infrastructure sectors will open up additional opportunities for private financing solutions. The personnel reinforcement in the Infrastructure Debt division is a direct result of this market analysis and the strategic positioning in these sectors.
