KDS Surveying Office will strengthen its presence in Cologne through an internal relocation. The company has leased approximately 600 m² of office space in the Rheinpark-Metropole property at Auenweg 11. This step marks a significant change for KDS, which is vacating its previous location at Graf-Geßler-Straße 5.
The planned relocation to the new premises is scheduled for this coming December. The Rheinpark-Metropole, a prominent property in Cologne-Deutz, will thus welcome a new tenant from the service sector. The lease agreement was brokered by the real estate consultancy JLL, which supported the tenant throughout the process.
The Rheinpark-Metropole as a Choice of Location
The Rheinpark-Metropole is the result of a comprehensive refurbishment of the former Rheinhallen, completed in 2009. This revitalisation created a modern office and commercial building of significant size and importance for the Cologne real estate market. The property boasts a total gross floor area of 160,000 m², making it one of the largest real estate developments in the region.
The lease by KDS contributes to the further consolidation of the letting status in the Rheinpark-Metropole. This currently stands at 85 per cent. This rate underscores the attractiveness of the location for companies from various sectors. The presence of anchor tenants such as RTL and HDI demonstrates the quality and infrastructural connectivity of the property.
The relocation of KDS Surveying Office to such an established property reflects the ongoing dynamism in the Cologne office market. The decision for the Rheinpark-Metropole highlights the necessity for companies to occupy modern and representative spaces that meet their operational requirements and offer future-proof infrastructure.
